Reuters dig up the corpse of the Nanosys IPO and give it a couple of gratuitous kicks. Rather than being a poster child for what some die-hards stubbornly insist will be the nanotech industry, Nanosys seems to be becoming, at least for the financial press, a symbol of nanotechnology’s unmet expectations and unrealised revenues. That is an overcynical view, engendered by some of the hype, but now that everyone has had their fun with poor old Nanosys, it’s probably time to move on.
