Its that time of year again, time for the annual European NanoBusiness Survey. This is the worlds largest indicator of business attitudes to nanotechnologies, covering nanotechnology impacts, public perception, educational requirements and regulation.
2005 will see new major nanotechnology initiatives in the European Union and Asia, while governments, regulators, patent offices and insurance companies are already taking a close interest in nanotechnologies. Public perception and European regulations have the ability to affect the global economy, as we have seen with GMOs. It is therefore essential that organisations such as the ENA provide independent feedback from all nanotechnology stakeholders to ensure that the right decisions are taken.
The online survey takes only a few minutes to complete and is crucial in defining future policy in both Europe and the rest of the world. The survey is open to all parties with an interest in nanotechnologies, whether in business, government or the academic world.
