Another CNT-FED…but for how long?

Motorola’s on/off relationship with field emission displays continues with recent claims of a “breakthrough technique.” We have seen plenty of working prototypes, but a FED that can be manufactured at a reasonable cost (or yield) and with a reasonable lifetime continues to be elusive.
