Vamos a la Playa

With Madrid getting over 35 degrees, the last two weeks were an ideal time to decamp to the beach, catch up with some reading, learn some Spanish (or Valenciano) and enjoy a series of outstanding local dishes such as paella, arroz a banda and espardenya (eels, rabbit and potatoes for the curious) washed down with some great local wines.

Our apologies for the brief hiatus, but we did enjoy it.
