Former superstar researcher and scientific fraud Jan Hendrik Schoen has reportedly been stripped of his doctorate by his alma mater.
Unless there is some evidence of fraud in gaining his PhD this seems a somewhat petty and vindictive act. We do not want to make light of what was an extremely serious matter of scentific fraud, but we wonder where will it end?
