India seems to be making a few major steps forward in getting to grips with nanotechnology, possibly a result of their technocratic president. The southern Indian state of Kerala is taking the plunge, with the state government setting up a R&D centre in Thiruvananthapuram.

Meanwhile up the coast in India’s financial capital, Mumbai, news leaked out of a major anglo-indian tie up on nanotech. We’ll have much more on this in the coming months as we get to know Sahar International Airport a lot better.
