We’ve been taken to task about a variety of things over the last few years, but fortunately never over our understanding of nanotechnology or the related financial issues.

Our latest critic berates us for not fully understanding Madonna’s latest fad, Kabbalah.

We’d have liked to reply, but the option has been removed, along with several other comments on the piece, so we’ll content ourselves with this.

Science and religion don’t mix, and never will. Anyone bouncing incongruent ideas around and seeing vague connections and suddenly realizing the universe all makes sense is a hazard to himself and everyone around him. Ask Pope Urban VIII or Kabbalistic mathematician Abramelim the Mage.

The line from the astrolology page we flagged as twaddle is just that.

Don’t ask a Rabbi, don’t look for nanotech investing tips in Liber 777 or crave enlightenment from Rael. Don’t ask Howard the Porpoise or Howard the Nanobot.

Ask any physicist, although we may make an exception of the recent work of Nobel Prize winner Brian Josephson, there may be one at a local school or university. They may not be able to spiritually enlighten you, but at least they’ll know what they are talking about.
