The Future, Part 237

BT (the former British Telecom) Futurologist Ian Pearson has some views on the future of nanotech. There’s nothing here that regular readers or anyone not driven insane by hype wouldn’t already know. In contrast to the dwindling band of wild eyed boosters fortunately not too common here at a nanotechnology industry trade show in Chicago, where we are currently dodging the tumbleweeds blowing through the immense, soulless and apparently half built McCormick Centre, Pearson adds a touch of sanity.

“My guess is that nanotechnology will gain a presence in every area of industry before too long, and it will only be the tiny dimensions involved that are common across the board.”
