While those on the environmental end of the nano spectrum often worry about who will ‘own’ nanotechnology, an article over at Motley Fool charts how the slippery fish known as nanotechnology has escaped the clutches of the Drexlerites and has wriggled free into the mainstream. Theres not much depth, but it does indicate the increasing distance between the nanobots and the business and investment community.
Just one minor correction however, the term Nanotechnology was first introduced in 1974 by Professor Norio Taniguchi as a term for ultra precision machining on sub micron scales.
