It’s Boring Being a Boffin

Australia is the latest country to find itself with a shortage of boffins, and chemists (or molecule geeks) in particular. Part of the blame is being laid at the feet of educationalists, with students finding high school science “boring and irrelevant.”

A few copies of the Wellcome Trusts’ recent materials on nanotech might help with that issue.
