Cabot Microelectronics, who some may remember were quietly switched out of the Merrill Lynch index due to a little confusion between the various flavour of Cabot i.e. between Cabot Corp and Cabot Microelectronics, who are more concerned with CMP slurries, and we should point out have no connection with CMP Cientifica, may have to be switched back in following their recent deal with NanoProducts, which also involved a $3.75 million payment for a minority stake in Nanoproducts.
More M&A and an interesting conundrum for Merrill Lynch
