Also noteworthy this week is the announcement by Central Michigan University researchers that they have successfully grown multiwalled carbon nanotubes on a dendrimer-based catalyst at 175 degrees Celsius, the lowest-reported temperature to date. This brings together two of the hottest areas in nanoscience right now, and two of our very favourite molecules, carbon nanotubes and dendrimers.
